Q: How do I apply?

A: We offer a web-based application process that is easy and convenient for you. All required documents can easily be uploaded and attached to your application. Get started!

Q: Where can I find the program requirements and application deadlines?

A: A complete list of graduate programs offered at Georgia Southern University can be found on our College of Graduate Studies webpage. Click on your program of interest to access the admissions requirements and application deadlines specific to that program of study.

Q: What needs to be completed by the application deadline?

A: All required documents listed on the admissions requirements for the program must be uploaded to the online application portal by the application deadline. If all required documents are not received by the deadline, your application will not be considered for admission.

Q: Do I need to provide transcripts from all the institutions I have attended for post secondary education?

A: This varies by program. When you start the application process for your specific program, it will indicate if you are required to provide all transcripts and if they must come from the degree awarding institution. 

Q: Do international students have additional admissions requirements?

A: Yes. The following are the additional requirements for international students:

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores
• International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited evaluation service (www.naces.org)
