GA Checklist

Congratulations on receiving a graduate assistantship! In order to prepare you for this position, please be sure that you have completed all of the following prior to your first day of employment:

Human Resources

• Submit a background investigation consent form
• Attend on-boarding

Payroll

• Set up direct deposit for your monthly stipend.

Health Services

• Enroll in or waive out of the mandatory health insurance through United Healthcare.

Faculty Center

If you are a teaching Assistant listed as the instructor of record for a course, you will be required to attend TA Training through the Faculty Center. Please contact the Faculty Center for more information.
